Biography
Head of Intensive Cardiac Care Unit, Santa Maria della Misericordia General Hospital, Rovigo, Italy. He deals with patients affected by acute heart failure and cardiogenic shock needing RRT and mechanical ventilation, acute coronary syndromes, high and intermediate-high risk pulmonary embolism. Main fields of interest are venous thromboembolism and pulmonary hypertension, acute cardiac care patients. Fellow of the ESC since 2020, Silver Acute Cardiovascular Care member, Pulmonary Circulation ESC Working Group member since 2020, ANMCO Veneto secretary and Chairman of ANMCO Pulmonary Circulation Working Group (2022-2023). ACVC European Full Board Certification obtained in 2019. Senior Reviewer for European Heart Journal - Case Reports, reviewer for Circulation, Circulation Research, Critical Care Medicine, JAHA. Invited speaker/chair in many national congresses and meetings. Published more than 50 manuscripts and more than 100 abstracts in national and international congresses.
