Biography
Mauro Pepi has a Medicine Degree in Medicine (University of Milan) and Board in Cardiology. He is Clinical Director of Centro Cardiologico, Fondazione I. Monzino, IRCCS, Institute of Cardiology University of Milan (2020 – present; 2003 -2020: Director Cardiac Imaging Dpt)). He is Teaching Professor of the Postgraduate School of Cardiology of the University of Milan. (1995- present). Author of over 300 papers and 700 abstracts, 16 books and 18 Guidelines. He is very deeply involved in research activities, with studies in different fields of cardiovascular diseases (Transesophageal echocardiography , Mitral valve diseases, Cardiomyopathies, Prosthetic heart valve disease, Aortic dissection , 3D echocardiography, Cardiac CT, Cardiac MRI). President Elect Italian Society of Echocardiography and Cardiovascular Imaging (2019)
