Dr. Ammar Akhtar was graduated from Quaid-e-Azam Medical College, Bahawalpur, Pakistan. He did his internship in Bahawal Victoria Hospital, Bahawalpur and then later moved to Siuth Africa where he received Diploma in Tropical medicine and Hygiene from University of Witwatersrand. Later he started his training in Internal Medicine at BVH, BAHAWALPUR and after 2 year completion moved to Cardiology in Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi Institute of Cardiology, Multan. He is author of 3 original articles and one case report. Currently he is working as trainee of cardiology and is involved in different research projects some of which are under-review in journals for publication and some are under-process
