Biography
Thomas Nia Jensen is a Ph.d.-student focused on understanding arrhythmogenic substrate in ventricular tachycardia (VT). His Ph.D. is scheduled to be completed in 2026. His main focus in on the role of cardiac magnetic resonance imaging in prognosis and risk prediction of VT. He is supervised by Professor Katja Zeppenfeld and Professor Jens Cosedis Nielsen.
On top of this, he has authored several papers on antithrombotic therapy after PCI in patients with atrial fibrillation.
In his spare time he has been a part of several student commitees with focus on education, innovation, research and cardiology. Furthermore, he likes to go bouldering.
