Doctor Joan Carles Trullas

Joan Carles Trullàs, MD, PhD, is a specialist in Internal Medicine and Heart Failure. He is the Director of the Internal Medicine Department at the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau in Barcelona, Spain. He is a member of the Heart Failure Working Group of the Spanish Society of Internal Medicine, actively participating in observational studies, registries, and clinical trials in the field of heart failure. Dr. Trullàs is the coordinator of the Spanish Heart Failure Registry (RICA-2), the principal investigator of the ALCALOTIC study (NCT04740242), and the CLOROTIC trial (NCT01647932). Additionally, he serves as a Professor of Medicine at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB)
