Assistant Professor Enrique Garcia-Sayan

Dr. Garcia-Sayan is an Associate Professor at Baylor College of Medicine and Section Chief of Non-Invasive Cardiology at Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center and the Texas Heart Institute at Baylor College in Houston. His clinical interests include complex valvular and structural heart disease, 3D echocardiography, imaging guidance for transcatheter interventions, cardiac CT, and quality echocardiography lab operations. A Fellow of the American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) since 2016, he was part of the inaugural ASE Leadership Academy and has contributed to ASE committees, task forces, guideline writing groups, and the ASE Board of Directors (2023-2025). He also serves as Chair of the Advocacy Committee, member of the Interventional Echocardiography Council Steering Committee, Echo Lab Directors Forum, and Chair of the Guideline App Workgroup, and represents ASE on the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission Echocardiography Board.
