Biography
Nosheen Reza, MD, MS, is an advanced heart failure and genetic cardiologist, physician-scientist, and Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. She cares for patients in the Penn Center for Inherited Cardiovascular Disease and the Section of Heart Failure, Transplantation, and Mechanical Support. Her NIH- and American College of Cardiology-funded research aims to improve care for those with genetic cardiomyopathies and heart failure, with growing emphasis on implementation, financing, and equitable delivery of cardiovascular therapies. She trained in internal medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital and completed cardiovascular disease and advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology fellowships at Penn and earned an MS in Translational Research. Dr. Reza is Associate Program Director of the Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship, Founding Director of Penn Women in Cardiology, and inaugural Deputy Editor of the Journal of Cardiac Failure-Intersections.
