Biography
Valeria Cetoretta, MD, is a Medical Oncologist and Cardio-Oncology Fellow based in Italy. Since 2023, she has been undertaking specialty training in Cardiovascular Diseases, with a dedicated focus on cardio-oncology and cancer therapy–related cardiovascular complications. Her clinical and research work focuses on high-impact areas of cardio-oncology, including immune checkpoint inhibitor–associated myocarditis and CAR-T–related cardiotoxicity. She is actively involved in translational and clinical research, contributing to the growing field of cardiovascular toxicity of cancer therapies, with multiple peer-reviewed publications. She is committed to advancing the early detection, risk stratification, and management of cardiotoxicity in cancer patients through multidisciplinary collaboration. She speaks Italian and English and has a strong interest in developing integrated cardio-oncology care pathways.
