Biography
Paul Njoku, MBBS, MRes, PGCert, MRCP is an Internal Medicine Trainee (IMT2) in the UK with a strong academic and clinical interest in cardiology. His areas of developing interests include cardiovascular imaging—particularly cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (CMR), electrophysiology, and sports cardiology. Paul holds a Distinction in his Master of Research (MRes) degree and a Postgraduate Certificate in Health Professions Education (PGCert), reflecting his commitment to both research excellence and medical education. His research interests focus on cardiac MRI, infiltrative cardiomyopathies, and sports medicine, with ongoing involvement in clinical research, quality improvement, and scholarly activity aligned with contemporary European cardiovascular practice. Alongside his clinical and academic work, Paul is actively involved in teaching and mentoring medical students and resident doctors. Outside of medicine, he enjoys hiking, playing padel, baking, and regular gym training.
