Joseph Saseen is Professor of Clinical Pharmacy and Vice Chair of Clinical and Academic Programs for the Department of Clinical Pharmacy at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. He is also a Professor of Family Medicine and practices as a clinical pharmacist at the University of Colorado Health. Dr. Saseen is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist, a Board Certified Ambulatory Care Pharmacist, and a Clinical Lipid Specialist. He is currently President Elect of the National Lipid Association and is chair of the Education Council. He was also recipient of the NLA Presidents Service Award in 2018. He was appointed by APhA as a member of the writing committee for the 2018 ACC/AHA/Multisociety Cholesterol Guideline.
