Doctor Bo Zhang

Dr. Zhang Bo has led two ECHO teams in stress and contrast echocardiography, performing over 10,000 cases and gaining national recognition. He pioneered the "upright image acquisition" technique during treadmill exercise and "pre-CAG myocardial perfusion assessment" in ACS pts first in China. In 2025, he awarded the National Training Center for Stress Echocardiography and the CSE Pioneer Award. As a member of the Clinical Epidemiology and Evidence-Based Medicine Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, Dr. Zhang has led multiple studies, published over 20 papers (highest IF 6.8). His research was selected seven times by ASE and twice by ESC congress. Two of his studies won first prize at the OCC's “Xie Feng-Tom Porter Contrast Echocardiography Promotion and Application Award” competitions. Dr. Zhang hosted 8 Sino-American case discussions (with Danbury Hospital and BIDMC), and conducted 4 "Stress Echocardiography Elite Training Courses," attracting experts from over 16 provinces.
