Biography
Maciej Lis, MD, PhD, is a radiologist at the Clinical Diagnostic Imaging Center, 5th Military Clinical Hospital in Krakow, Poland. He has been affiliated with the Department of Anatomy, Jagiellonian University Medical College, since 2021. His work sits at the interface of cardiac anatomy, advanced CT and MRI physics, and electrophysiology. His main interests are the anatomy of the cardiac conduction system and its translation into conduction system pacing (LBBAP), arrhythmia substrates of the right ventricular outflow tract, and photon-counting detector CT in cardiovascular imaging. He has published in the Journal of Cardiovascular Electrophysiology, the Journal of Interventional Cardiac Electrophysiology, Heart Rhythm and Clinical Anatomy. He collaborates internationally with the University of Minnesota, and with New York University on artificial intelligence algorithms in radiology. Outside of work he likes to play tennis in summer and ski in winter.
