Yunshan CAO, MD, PhD, Professor, Chief of Pulmonary Vascular Disease Center (PVDC) in Gansu Provincial Hospital. Doctor Cao has been worked at BIDMC during 2015.1-2015.6 and Massachusetts General Hospital Affiliated to Harvard Medical School during 2015.7-2016.7. He is also the chairman of the Pulmonary Vascular Disease Professional Committee of the Gansu Medical Doctor Association, the editor of the Pulmonary hypertension section of JACC Asia, and associate editor of BMC Pulmonary medicine, Frontiers in Pharmacology. Doctor Cao proposed the Dyad, Triad, and clinical classification of fibrosing mediastinitis as well as pulmonary vein flow grade and pulmonary vein nonmature. Doctor Cao and his team are focusing on the interventional procedures of CTEPH, pulmonary Takayasu arteritis, fibrosing mediastinitis induced pulmonary artery/vein stenosis. Up to now, Doctor Cao has assisted more than 20 state hospitals to carry out interventional therapy of pulmonary vascular stenosis.
