Professor Vanessa Roldan-Schilling

Prof. Roldán Schilling holds a degree and a PhD in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Granada. She is currently a Full Professor at the University with an affiliated position at the Virgen de la Arrixaca University Clinical Hospital and Head of the Hematology Department. She is currently the coordinator of a PhD program at the University of Murcia, as well as the coordinator of the Haematology subject in the Medical Degree program. She has supervised 16 doctoral theses. She has published 274 articles in JCR-indexed journals, with an h-index of 45 and 8,881 citations. She has notably contributed to various clinical practice guidelines, including the European Society of Cardiology's guidelines for the management of direct oral anticoagulants. She also serves as an associate editor for the journal Thrombosis & Haemostasis.
