Biography
After having graduated in Medicine (2002) and completed my Cardiology training (2006) in Italy, I got clinical and research exposure in cardiac imaging (advance echo, cardiac CT and cardiac MR) in LUMC (Leiden, NL), Fondazione CNR/RTGM (Pisa, IT), Cardiocentro Ticino (Lugano, CH) and Flinders Medical Centre (Adelaide, AUS). In 2015 I discussed my PhD thesis on applications of cardiac imaging at Leiden University. Honorary associate professor at Flinders University (Adelaide, AUS) since 2016, Consultant in Cardiac Imaging at North-West Heart Centre (Manchester, UK) since 2017.
