Chief of Cardiology Unit since 2007 at San Giovanni Hospital, Rome. Chief of the Department of Cardiovascular Disease since march 2019 at San Giovanni Hospital, Rome. He edited textbooks and Consensus Documents on intracoronary imaging modalities. Francesco Prati is author and co-author of over 320 publications on National and International Journals (Circulation, European Heart Journal, American Heart Journal, EuroIntervention, JACC Intv, JACC Img, Heart and others), mainly on interventional cardiology and on the clinical and research
