Associate professor Jana Rubáčková Popelová, MD, PhD She finished medical studies in 1981 at the Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic. She specialized in internal medicine and cardiology, performing echocardiography already as a medical student. She was the head of the echo-lab and since 2006 she is the director of the Center for adults with congenital heart diseases in Prague. She was a member of the board of the Czech Society of Cardioloogy and of the nucleus of the ESC WG on GUCH. She wrote the only Czech monograph concerning Congenital Heart Diseases in Adults (in Czech: Grada 2003, extended re-edition 2018; in English: Informa, London, 2008). She is author or co-author of chapters in 11 monographies, 9 guidelines and 70 original studies, citations: 2772, h-index 13, the most cited articles: * The spectrum of ACHD in Europe: Morbidity and mortality in a 5-year follow-up period.
