Doctor Sejla Sehovic

Dr. Šejla Šehović completed her specialization in Internal Medicine in Bosnia and Herzegovina, followed by subspecialty Fellowships in Cardiology at CHUV Lausanne, Switzerland, and an international ACP Fellowship in advanced echocardiographic and non‑invasive imaging methods at the Cleveland Clinic Heart Center, USA. She holds certifications in all advanced echocardiographic techniques. After several years of clinical work in Germany, including Universitätsklinikum Düsseldorf and Charité Berlin, she gained expertise in advanced heart failure and LVAD patient management. With long‑standing experience in cardiac surgery in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Germany, she developed expertise in managing complex cardiac patients before and after surgery. Dr. Šehović holds a PhD in Cardiology and is Lecturer at the International University of Sarajevo (IUS). Her research interests include coronary vascular dysfunction ,advanced echocardiographic methods, and non‑obstructive CAD.
