Biography
Estelle GANDJBAKHCH (MD, PhD) is Professor of Medicine at Sorbonne-Université and leads the Heart Rhythm Unit at the Cardiology Institute of Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital, Assistance Publique–Hôpitaux de Paris. She currently serves as President of the Heart Rhythm and Cardiac Pacing Working Group of the French Society of Cardiology (SFC). She is a member of UMR-S ICAN 1166 (Team 1, Genetics of Cardiovascular Disease) and of the reference center for inherited cardiomyopathies at Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital. She is an expert in arrhythmias associated with inherited heart diseases, particularly arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy (ARVC). She has co-authored 199 peer-reviewed publications and contributed to the writing group of the 2025 ESC Guidelines.
