Maya Guglin, MD, PhD, is Director of Heart Failure/Transplantation/MCS program at Indiana University in Indianapolis, IN, USA. Prior to this, she was on faculty at University of Kentucky, Lexington, where she directed the program of ventricular assist devices and VA ECMO. Her scientific interests include chemotherapy-induced cardiomyopathy, cardiogenic shock, takotsubo syndrome, as well a wide range of topics related to heart failure. She started and is editing The VAD Journal, an online open access journal dedicated to mechanical circulatory support and heart failure.
