Professor Iurii Karpenko

From 1992 to 2007, he worked at the city hospital No. 9 as the head of the cardiosurgical department. Candidate of Medical Sciences since 1998, specialty - cardiovascular surgery. Doctor of Medical Sciences since 2007, specialty: 14.01.04 - cardiovascular surgery. He defended his dissertation on 29.05. 2007. From 15.08.2007 - head of the Department of Internal Medicine No. 1 with a course in cardiovascular pathology at the Odessa National Medical University. In 2014, he received the title of professor. Since 10/13/2009, his main place of work is the head of the Regional Center for Cardiac Surgery of the Odessa Regional Clinical Hospital, head of the laboratory for electrophysiological examination of the heart with X-ray surgery, cardiac surgeon of the Odessa Regional Hospital. For the first time in Ukraine, he introduced operations for electro-anatomical mapping of cardiac arrhythmias using navigation systems.
