Dr Diana Foo is a senior research resident working at Clinical Research Centre of Sarawak General Hospital. Her primary areas of interest in research include echocardiography, diabetic cardiomyopathy, diastolic dysfunction, heart failure, stroke and atrial fibrillation and biomarkers. As the Lead of physiology laboratory of the clinical research centre, she and her team participate actively in a variety of trials involving various cardiac physiology monitoring devices. She has won the prestigious Young Investigator Award (National) prize at the ASEAN Federation of Cardiology Congress in 2014, and won three major research grants of the Ministry of Health Malaysia as Principal Investigator for works in her primary areas of interest. She was nominated as Fellow of International Society of Cardiovascular Disease and Prevention in 2017. She is the co-author of the National Transthoracic Echocardiogram Guide published by National Heart Association of Malaysia in 2018.
