Doctor Tomohiro Fujisaki

Tomohiro Fujisaki was born in Japan in 1990. He received his MD degree from Kumamoto University School of Medicine, Kumamoto, Japan, in 2016. He completed two years of Japanese general residency training. Since 2018, he has had a brief period of interventional cardiology and echocardiography training at Makiminato Chuo Hospital and Kanoya Medical Center, Japan. Since 2019, he has studied abroad and underwent internal medicine residency training for three years at Mount Sinai Morningside and West hospitals (St. Luke's and Roosevelt), New York, USA. He experienced the covid-19 pandemic in the epicenter of New York as a front-line provider. Since 2022, he has been undergoing Academic Cardiology training at the Kumamoto University Hospital. His research interest mainly focuses on ischemic heart diseases, heart failure, and palliative care. Fluent in Japanese and English. His hobbies are watching baseball games, playing the guitar, and learning foreign languages.
