Doctor Robert Herman

Cardiovascular Research Center Aalst, Aalst (Belgium)

Member of:

European Society of Cardiology

Robert Herman is a physician and scientist with a robust technological background and a deep understanding of artificial intelligence and machine learning. In 2021, he obtained his Medical Degree from the Sigmund Freud University in Vienna (Austria). With a particular interest in Cardiovascular diseases, he collaborated on large clinical trials working as a student-researcher at Cardiocenter Aalst (Belgium), Rudolfstiftung, Wilhelminenspital (Austria), and National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (Slovakia) between 2015 and 2020. He was accepted to the CardioPath Programme and started his PhD thesis at the University of Naples Federico II (Italy) in 2021. In 2022, he accepted the invitation to serve as an EAPCI Research, Digital and Innovation Committee Member of the European Society of Cardiology. His primary focus is applying artificial intelligence to improve the diagnosis and management of acute coronary syndromes, heart failure, and arrhythmias.
