Professor Shinya Goto

Prof. Shinya Goto, MD, PhD graduated from Keio University School of Medicine at 1986. After getting PhD degree, Prof. Goto move to the Scripps Research Institute (CA, USA) as a post-doctoral fellow. Prof. Goto dissected the mechanism of platelet thrombus formation under blood flow condition. At 1996, Prof. Goto moved to Tokai University School of Medicine as an Assistant Professor. Prof. Goto promoted to full title Professor at 2007 in the Department of Medicine (Cardiology), Tokai University School of Medicine. Prof. Goto is also appointed as the Director and Chairman at the Metabolic Disease Research Center at Tokai University Graduate School of Medicine. Prof. Goto lead many of clinical trials aiming to clarify the efficacy and safety of various anti thrombotic agents. Prof. Goto also lead many international registry. For the basic science, Prof. Goto lead the application of high performance computer in Cardiology. Prof. Goto Published more than 150 peer reviewer articles.
