Professor Roberto De Ponti

Roberto De Ponti, MD, FEHRA, FHRS Institution: Department of Medicine and Surgery, University of Insubria, Varese, Italy. Current position at his Institutions: -Professor of Cardiology -Chief of Cardiology and Arrthythmia Unit -Director of the fellowship program in Cardiology Scientific Societies: -Fellow of the European Heart Rhythm Association and Heart Rhythm Society -President of the Italian Arrhythmia Society (AIAC) years 2020-2022 -Director of the Scientific Committee “AIAC Ricerca” years 2022-2026 Research, teaching, and clinical care: since the ‘80s his research has mainly focussed on interventional electrophysiology and management of cardiac arrhythmias and has produced >200 full papers. He dedicates a considerable part of his time to teaching electrophysiology and cardiac arrhythmias and tutoring fellows. He is involved in clinical activities and in electrophysiology procedures.
