Biography
Prof. Sotir Marchev, MD, PhD, DSc, FESC is Medical Director of Heart and Brain Centre of Excellence and Republican Consultant on Cardiology. Author of some of the most popular Bulgarian cardiology textbooks. Describes the first Bulgarian patients with Tacotsubo cardiomyopathy in 2005. PhD in the field of Tissue Doppler echocardiography, DSc in stress cardiomyopathy.
