Biography
Prof. Sotir Marchev, MD, PhD, DSc, FESC is Head of the Cardiology Clinic at the Medical Institute of the Ministry of Interior and Republican Consultant on Cardiology. Author of some of the most popular Bulgarian cardiology textbooks. Describes the first Bulgarian patients with Tacotsubo cardiomyopathy in 2005. PhD in the field of Tissue Doppler echocardiography, DSc in stress cardiomyopathy.
