Biography
Dr. Olímpio Ribeiro França Neto, MD, MSc, FESC, is a Brazilian cardiologist based in Curitiba. He graduated from the Federal University of Paraná, completed residency training in Internal Medicine and Cardiology at Hospital de Clínicas, and earned a Master's Degree in Medicine from the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná. He is a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology (FESC), a member of the European Association of Preventive Cardiology (EAPC), and the Brazilian Society of Cardiology. His interests include chronic coronary syndromes, preventive cardiology, dyslipidemia, cardiovascular risk assessment, obesity, and cardiovascular imaging. He served as President of the Paranaense Society of Cardiology and contributed to the ESC Congress as a member of the Abstract Reviewing Committee. He is an author of peer-reviewed scientific publications and speaks Portuguese, English, French, and Italian.
