Doctor Kimone Reid

Dr. Kimone Reid, DNP, MSPH, RN, CCRN, AGACNP-BC, AGACNS-BC is a Fellow in Hospital Medicine and Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, a Clinical Instructor and Health Care Consultant. Her interests include HF patient education, health literacy and HF, the use of mHealth and telehealth in HF, architectural design in health care, quality improvement, health policy and public health. Dr. Reid is a former Virginia Nurse Advocate Health Policy Fellow, the University of Virginia Center for Aspire Inter-professional Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Scholar and a Patient Safety Scholar by the Academy of Emerging Leaders in Patient Safety. She enjoys traveling, sports, the culinary arts, the theatre and volunteering, of which she has volunteered at a Free Clinic, a half-way house and in mobile and surgical clinics in rural Guatemala.
