Professor Periklis Davlouros

Periklis A. Davlouros, MD, PhD, is Professor of Cardiology at the University of Patras and Director of the Cardiology Department at the University Hospital of Patras, a position he has held since 2021. He has been Professor of Cardiology since 2018. He is an interventional cardiologist with expertise in coronary interventions, structural heart disease, transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI), adult congenital heart disease, and intracoronary imaging. His clinical and research interests include complex PCI, chronic total occlusions, optical coherence tomography, structural interventions, cardiovascular imaging, and the application of new technologies in cardiovascular medicine. His clinical work has included extensive experience in coronary angioplasty and the development of TAVI and other interventional programmes at the University Hospital of Patras.
