Associate Professor Borislav Dinov

Dr Borislav Dinov is a Consultant Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist at the Heart Center Leipzig (HZL), one of Europe's leading hospitals. Dr Dinov is the Head of the VT Section at the Department of Electrophysiology at HZL. He has an extensive clinical experience in the treatment of complex atrial and ventricular arrhythmias. His research interests focus on pathophysiology of atrial fibrillation, cardiac sarcoidosis, heart imaging and catheter ablation of ventricular tachycardia. He authored many publications in high-ranking cardiology journals and contributed to several specialized books about electrophysiology including the 7th Edition of Cardiac Electrophysiology: From Cell to Bedside, by Drs. Douglas Zipes and Jose Jalife. Dr Dinov is a member of the Editorial Boards of the EHJ-CR and EP Europace.
