Dr. Marin Boute was born in Brussels in 1994. He graduated from Université Catholique de Louvain (Belgium) in 2018 and began his specialization in Cardiology. Since 2021, Dr. Boute has been pursuing a PhD focused on structural valve degeneration in aortic bioprostheses, utilizing multi-modality imaging within a clinical setting. His clinical interests extend to rhythmology, cardiomyopathies, and cardiogenetics. Dr. Boute is trained in echocardiography and cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR). He also possesses advanced skills in statistical modeling and is proficient in the R programming language. Fluent in French, Dutch, and English, Dr. Boute also speaks some Spanish. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys field hockey, exploring Greek mythology, and craft beer tasting.
