Biography
Eugene Yang, M.D., M.S., F.A.C.C. is a Professor in the Division of Cardiology and holds the Carl and Renee Behnke Endowed Chair for Asian Health at the University of Washington School of Medicine. He is the chair of the ACC Section Steering Committee and immediate past chair of the ACC Prevention of Cardiovascular Disease Section. He is co-director of the UW Medicine Cardiovascular Wellness and Prevention Program. His research focuses on cardiovascular risk assessment and new blood pressure measurement technologies.
Dr. Yang earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Stanford and his M.D from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at Stanford.
