Associate Professor Diana Marcela Achury

Magister in cardiovascular nursing. Associate Professor of Nursing Faculty at Javeriana University. Editor of the Nursing Research Journal at Javeriana University. Coordinator of the International Nursing Network in Critical Care. Member of the cardiovascular nursing chapter of the Colombian Society of Cardiology and Cardiovascular Surgery. Their research developments have been oriented to design and evaluate innovative care strategies to promote adherence and self-care in patients with heart Failure. Other topics are related with psychometric studies, clinical safety and care in the critical patient, telemonitoring, effectiveness of expert patient programs, and caregiver’s competence of care of patients with heart failure. She has more than 20 articles published in international indexed journals and she is the editor of two books: Nursing fundaments for drugs administration, care strategies for people with chronic diseases.
