Biography
Dr. Orith Karny-Rahkovich is a cardiologist and Director of the Cardiac Rehabilitation and Secondary Cardiovascular Prevention Program at Rabin Medical Center. She leads the development and implementation of innovative hybrid cardiac rehabilitation models integrating digital health, wearable monitoring, and patient-reported outcomes. Since 2025, she has served as Secretary of the Working Group for Cardiac Rehabilitation of the Israel Heart Society. Her clinical and research interests focus on preventive cardiology, cardio-metabolic medicine, and optimization of rehabilitation strategies, including remote and AI-assisted interventions. Dr. Karny-Rahkovich is actively involved in academic teaching in cardiac rehabilitation. She is fluent in Hebrew, English, and Romanian and has a strong interest in digital innovation and visual communication in medicine.
