Doctor Win-Kuang Shen

Dr. Shen is a Consultant in the Division of Heart Rhythm Services, Department of Cardiovascular Diseases at Mayo Clinic in Arizona, a Professor of Medicine at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine, and John M. Nasseff, Sr. Professor in Cardiology. He is a Clinical Professor at the School of Biological and Health Systems Engineering, Ira A. Fulton School of Engineering at Arizona State University. He is a former Chair of the Department of Cardiovascular Diseases. He has served as a member of the Board of Trustees of the HRS, and a member of the Editorial Board of Heart Rhythm Journal. He was the Chair ir of the ACC/AHA/HRS 2017 Guidelines for the Evaluation and Management of Patients with Syncope. His research focuses on autonomic regulation, syncope, atrial fibrillation, and sudden cardiac death. He is actively involved in medical school, graduate school, post graduate education and clinical training.
