Anna Kostopoulou is an Assistant Director of the Department of Electrophysiology and Pacing of the Onassis Cardiac Surgery Center in Athens Greece. She was born In Canada where she grew up until the age of 11 when she moved to Greece. She studied Medicine in Greece and did her Cardiology training and Electrophysiology training at the Onassis Cardiac Surgery Center. She completed her PHD (University of Athens) in 2009. She has obtained both accreditation Diplomas in Cardiac Pacing and Electrophysiology by the European Society of Cardiology (2011&2014 respectively). Her post-graduate training includes a 1 year clinical fellowship in Cardiology Genetics in Pavia, Italy and the 2 year programme of the Advanced studies in Cardiac Arrhythmia Management DAS-CAM organised by the Maastricht University. Her hobbies are singing, reading and traveling. She speaks English and Greek. She is married and has two children.
