Dr. Juan Felipe Vásquez-Rodríguez is a specialist in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Echocardiography. He is currently a member of the Non-Invasive Cardiovascular Diagnostic Imaging Unit and the Department of Cardiology at Fundación Cardioinfantil – LaCardio in Bogotá, Colombia. He is actively involved in clinical research, with particular interest in defining normative cardiovascular values for the Colombian population, the structural and functional evaluation of the right ventricle, valvular heart disease, and especially tricuspid valve abnormalities associated with cardiac implantable electronic devices. Dr. Vásquez-Rodríguez is an active member of the Colombian Society of Cardiology and Cardiovascular Surgery (SCC), the Interamerican Society of Cardiac Imaging (SISIAC), the European Society of Cardiology (ESC), and the American Society of Echocardiography (ASE), where he holds the distinction of Fellow (FASE).
