Biography
Dr Joseph Barker is a UK clinical academic in cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology, working at the intersection of cardiovascular medicine, data science, and artificial intelligence. His doctoral research at Imperial College London developed AI-based prediction of lethal arrhythmic risk from ECG and ambulatory monitoring. His work has been recognised by the American Heart Association's Elizabeth Barrett-Connor Research Award in Epidemiology and Prevention.
