Johannes Reinhold, BSc(hons), MSc, MD, PhD, MRCP, FHEA, FESC, is an NIHR Clinical Lecturer at the University of East Anglia investigating the effects of iron deficiency in the heart and an honorary cardiology SpR in interventional cardiology and GIM at Norwich and Norfolk University Hospital, Royal Papworth Hospital and Cambridge University Hospitals. He studied medicine at the University of Frankfurt and completed an intercalated BSc in Physiology at King’s College London (first class honours) and an MSc in International Health Policy at the London School of Economics (merit). He was awarded a doctor of medicine (research) degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Frankfurt and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the University of Cambridge. His postgraduate clinical training was at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals (London), Cambridge University Hospitals, Royal Papworth Hospital and Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
