Doctor Jyothi Vijay

Dr. Jyothi Vijay is an Assistant Professor in Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology at Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST), Kerala, India — an Institute of National Importance under the Government of India and one of the region's largest public-sector super-speciality teaching hospitals. He has held this position since January 2023. Dr. Vijay's training spans two of India's foremost cardiology centres. He completed his cardiology training at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, followed by specialized training in cardiac electrophysiology at SCTIMST. From January to December 2022, he completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Cardiac Electrophysiology at SCTIMST, the institution where he now serves as faculty. SCTIMST is a major referral centre for a large region and was the first institute in the country to establish a structured electrophysiology training program.
