Professor V Vassilikos completed his medical education and obtained his Doctoral Thesis at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. He was trained in Cardiology in Thessaloniki and UK, where he subspecialized in Invasive Cardiology and Electrophysiology at St Bartholomew’s Hospital London, and practiced for several years at the Onassis Cardiothoracic Centre in Athens. In 2014 he was elected Professor in Cardiology and Director of the 3rd Cardiology University Department, Thessaloniki. He is a Fellow of the ACC, the ESC, and member of numerous National and International scientific societies. He was the President of the Hellenic W Group on P and E, the founder of the National Registry of Ablations and CRM Devices, and committee member for training and drug prescription on arrhythmias in Greece. He participated in numerous international trials as Primary Investigator, published extensively and actively participates in local, regional and international scientific meetings.
