Doctor Prossie Merab Ingabire

Ingabire Prossie Merab is a Ugandan medical doctor. She completed both her Bachelors of Medicine & Surgery degree and her Masters of Medicine in Internal Medicine at Makerere University College of Health Sciences. She is a founding fellow of the East, Central and Southern Africa College of Physicians (ECSACOP). She has fifteen years’ experience as a clinician and is currently working at St. Francis Hospital, Nsambya and China Uganda Friendship Hospital, Naguru. She is involved in teaching and mentoring both undergraduate and postgraduate medical students at both hospitals. Dr. Ingabire is passionate about reducing the morbidity and mortality of cardiovascular diseases through treating patients, teaching health care providers and doing clinical research. She believes it is very essential to be empowered as a clinician to translate policies and research into daily clinical practice.
