Biography
Tamar Gaprindashvili is a cardiologist and figure in cardio-oncology and heart failure in Tbilisi, Georgia. Since September 2021, she has served as the Head of the Cardio-Oncology and Heart Failure work group at Bochua Memorial Cardiovascular Center, where she has also been a cardiologist since January 2016.
She is an active academic, holding positions as an invited lecturer at New Vision University and Davit Tvildiani Medical University. She is a PhD candidate with a dissertation on the "Correlation between LV Hypertrophy and Blood Pressure Response to Submaximal Exertion."
Her expertise is demonstrated through her numerous publications, clinical trial participation, and active membership in cardiology societies, including the European Society of Cardiology, and member of the Georgian Society of Cardiology's Cardio-Oncology workgroup.
Dr. Gaprindashvili is also multilingual, fluent in Georgian, English, Russian, and Portuguese.
