Prof. Liu is the Director of Department of Hypertension at Peking University People's Hospital, specialized in hypertension, lipids and metabolic disorders, thrombosis and clinical trial. Prof. Liu has been deeply involved in clinical trials and epidemiological studies on hypertension and cardiometabolic medicine and has published more than 60 original articles, editorials and reviews in the national or international journals, and more than 20 Chapters of monographs in the past decade. Prof. Liu has firstly initiated and published consensus documents on management of nocturnal hypertension, application of smart wearable devices and hypertension management in the young and middle-aged population. Prof. Liu is currently member of ESC Council on Hypertension and Working Group on Cardiovascular Pharmacotherapy, member of ESH Working Group on BP Monitoring, the editorial board member of Journal of Hypertension, Hypertension Research, Clinical Hypertension, and npj Cardiovascular Health.
