Dr Raheel Ahmed graduated in 2014 from Newcastle University Uk. After doing his junior doctor jobs in the Northern Deanery and West Midlands area of UK, he is now a cardiology registrar in training at the Northern Deanery. In October 2021, he went out of programme to start his PhD at the Royal Brompton Hospital in London, UK focusing on risk stratification of high risk cardiac sarcoidosis patients. Raheel has a keen interest in research and teaching. He was the national John Munro medal winner in 2021. Raheel enjoys playing cricket and is fluent in English, Urdu and Punjabi.
