Biography
Dr Mohamed Zuhair is a Cardiology Specialist Registrar at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust in London, sub-specialising in cardiac arrhythmias and devices.
He is also a Clinical Research Fellow at the National Heart and Lung Institute, Imperial College London, where he is completing a PhD on reflex syncope and cardioneuroablation. He helps run the Syncope and Cardioneuroablation Service at Hammersmith Hospital, a UK tertiary referral centre for reflex syncope and autonomic disorders.
His research interests span catheter ablation for atrial arrhythmias, modulation of the cardiac autonomic nervous system, and conduction system pacing, with a particular focus on developing novel, evidence-based therapies for patients with refractory rhythm disorders.
Outside of medicine, Dr Zuhair is a qualified pilot, beekeeper, and amateur astronomer.
