Yiwei Liu is a cardiac surgeon working in Shanghai Children’s Medical Center. He earned his MD degree at Chongqing Medical university in 2014. Then he completed a five-year research training and earned PhD degree at Fuwai hospital in 2019. Dr Liu’s research focuses on cardiac metabolism and cardioprotection in the field of cardiac surgery and cardio-oncology. The related work has been published in Circulation, Science Translational Medicine, Nature Communication and ATVB.
