Doctor Burak Oezdemir

Burak Özdemir, MD, is a board-certified cardiologist at the University Hospital Bergmannsheil in Bochum, Germany. He completed his specialist training in internal medicine and cardiology in 2024 and has been actively involved in interventional cardiology, structural heart disease, and advanced cardiac imaging. His clinical focus includes echocardiography, heart failure, and acute coronary syndromes, with additional responsibilities in on-call services and procedural planning. Dr. Özdemir is actively involved in echocardiography courses and regularly teaches clinical cardiology to medical students and residents. He also contributes to national and international cardiology meetings. He speaks German, English, and Turkish fluently and enjoys photography and traveling in his free time.
