Heart Failure Association

Rypdal is a postdoctoral researcher in the lab of Dr. Ida G. Lunde at Akershus University Hospital and the University of Oslo, with a PhD in basic and translational cardiac research. Our research area is molecular mechanisms of heart failure, with particular focus on fibrosis and the role of extracellular matrix proteins in the heart.

Deletion of the extracellular matrix glycoprotein ADAMTSL3 increases pro-fibrotic signalling and exacerbates heart failure in mice

Event: ESC Congress 2022

Topic: Experimental Heart Failure

Session: Chronic heart failure - Bench studies

Deletion of the matrix glycoprotein ADAMTSL3 results in dilated cardiomyopathy in aortic banded mice

Event: Heart Failure 2021

Topic: Heart Failure

Session: Basic Science

The secreted matrix glycoprotein ADAMTSL3 is up-regulated in heart failure and mediates anti-fibrotic effects in cardiac fibroblasts

Event: Heart Failure 2019

Topic: Fibrosis

Session: Basic science - Cardiomyopathies
